I started my career as a journalist working across both print and digital publications such as Grazia, Heat and Marie Claire. I have consulted on the launch of two digital brands, have single-handedly organised large-scale events for the IPA Festival of British Advertising and I previously had my own segment on a national radio show on TalkRadio. Most recently I have been working in television, commercial and digital content production for brands such as Netflix, Superdrug and Oasis. Creative direction and management of a project for Shortlist Media brands Shortlist and Stylist, creating over 50 pieces of unique video content for their Facebook pages. Directing a team of editors to create the 60 second videos and script writing where necessary, liaising directly with the client to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
Working on development and creative across new television and commercial projects. Writing all copy for the clients and creating pitch documents and presentations. As the conduit between the London and Los Angeles offices I worked on all commercial development for the LA side of the business pitching for clients such as Coty and Ojo Scooters.
As assistant producer of Sam Delaney’s News Thing, a topical news and politics panel show broadcast on television weekly, I was solely responsible for talent spotting and booking guests. Driving the editorial steer of the show and creating all VT packages – including shooting original satire, often at short notice. Working in a small team I was the right-hand woman to the executive producer, taking meetings in his absence.
Executive producing six separate events, across three different venues, for the IPA Festival of British Advertising sponsored by Google and Channel 4. From devising the creative content of the events and copywriting all of the promotional materials, to booking the likes of Sir Alan Parker, Lord Norman Tebbit and the comedian Adam Buxton to speak or perform at the festival. Lastly managing and coordinating staff across the project to ensure the smooth running of each event as we welcomed over 1500 guests through the doors.
Joining Sam Delaney on his daily drive time show every Wednesday evening to present a half an hour slot covering the latest millennial news, I had full control over the editorial steer for the content and staying ahead of the latest trends.
Managing the entertainment team for Marie Claire, liaising with PRs to step up and conduct high profile celebrity interviews and shoots. Planning and editing the Reporter and Deluxe sections of the magazine; covering food and culture. Coordinating the entertainment content for MarieClaire.co.uk and working with the editor and deputy editor to devise ways to push Marie Claire's entertainment coverage forward.
Working alongside the existing team consulting on the launch of the dating app, Huggle and advising on the optimum user interface and the features within the app. Helping to create and implement a media launch strategy for taking the app to the national press.

Managing writers and a team of 20 bloggers and devising a content schedule for output on the site - driving traffic up 300% within the first month and working alongside the social media manager to increase followers across all social platforms.
