About me
A lover of connecting people through storytelling, I am a social media and communications professional who values the power of technology and visuals in achieving one's mission. I am currently at Global Heritage Fund, where I manage the organization's social media platforms, communications and marketing, and external affairs. I also help support the organization's development and fundraising.
Prior to Global Heritage Fund, I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho from 2018-2020, where I served as a Primary Education English Volunteer and taught sex education and HIV awareness. I also have experience as a Press and Communications Intern at the Center for American Progress in Washington, DC, where I found my knack for media and communications.
I received my MSc in Development Studies from SOAS University of London and my BA in International Affairs with a minor in Humanitarian Development from James Madison University. My academic specialties involve international development theory and effectiveness, specifically in relation to ICTs and gender issues. I plan to continue my education and career in the communications and development space.

-Coordinates with and organizes events for the Board of Trustees and their networks by developing event budgets, taking meeting minutes, creating communications materials, and presenting on area of expertise as requested
