  • ŠKODA Octavia - Loved, not owned.Our insight was simple. Škoda Octavia drivers really do love their Octavias. We wanted to show that Octavia owners treated their cars as an extension of their family. To show that they are indeed loved, and not owned. Teaming up with ethnographer Paula Zucotti, we told the story of a group of very different Octavia owners. Although we had a helicopter winch man, a rural doctor, an art collector, a "furry" and an NST mum, they all had one thing in common - the car was at the centre of everything they do. Using a unique technique, we told their stories through the objects they associate with their Octavias. The project was a digital content lead campaign with print and OOH media too. Loved, not owned was the spark that ignited ŠKODA's rethinking in the proposition of their models, and has served as a basis for how the brand's comms will now shape and evolve as it moves forward.
