I am an experienced producer with over eight years working knowledge of the arts, entertainment and events industries. In 2017, I've joined 59 Productions as Producer, having previously led the team at Underbelly for over five years. Last year, I broadened my experience further by conceiving, delivering and selling my own content-driven event in Brighton. I am an ideas-driven, strategic producer with a strong track record in producing complex projects for high-profile clients and events. I specialise in rigorous budget management, engaging with people at all levels, precise logistical planning and delivering to tight deadlines.
Producer for a cross-disciplinary company of artists, combining technology and art to tell amazing stories. Key responsibilities: - Project budget creation and management - Negotiating client contracts - Managing project scheduling, logistics, staffing, and production - Analysis of past, current and potential future projects to inform company-wide planning - Working to identify funding opportunities and potential clients - Leading tender applications - Working with the Creative Lead on projects to set deadlines and deliverables for the in-house creative team and freelance project team - Managing relationships with 59’s freelance collaborators - Keeping abreast of PR requirements and working with 59’s PR to help maintain and expand 59’s press profile - Management of third party rights for licensed and rights controlled material (music, film footage, stock imagery etc)
Leading the team at Underbelly on each event, including: - Pride in London - Christmas in Leicester Square - Udderbelly and London Wonderground festivals on London’s South Bank - Udderbelly Festival Hong Kong - Edinburgh’s Christmas and Hogmanay celebrations - West End Live in Trafalgar Square - a 16-venue operation (ranging from 40 to 1000 seats) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Key responsibilities: - Strategic planning and logistical scheduling of each festival within the portfolio - Establishing and maintaining relationships with a variety of agencies, authorities, landlords, partners and other stakeholders, including leading SAG, LOSPG and other multi-agency fora - End-to end management of each project from conception, budgeting and planning to implementation, delivery and evaluation - Creation of budgets, financial management through P&L forecasts and scrutinising expenditure - Writing all reports from event, noise, crowd and wind management plans to licence applications, tenders, risk assessments and debrief documents - Selecting, negotiating and contracting event suppliers, freelancers and contractors - Recruiting large teams of temporary staff - Managing needs and expectations of sponsors, partners and funders
