The free event was for womxn and non-binary people to hone their writing skills amongst like-minded people. There were four categories lead by four different group leaders: Prose, Poetry, Scriptwriting and Journalism. The attendees took part in exercises that encouraged growth and thought, with the main focus surrounding how writers could expand their reportoire than trying to criticise each

The Floor Magazine is an online platform exploring and celebrating literary arts, with the aim of increasing exposure for writers and their respective trades. Our content ranges from poetry to short stories and the lyrical aspects of music. I started this project mainly for people to fall in love with literary arts the same way I have. I feel there has been a decline in its interest and I wanted to correct it. After brainstorming for over a year and collecting my ideas and thoughts, I found this was the best way to do so.
