  • Terra
TerraTerra is a vermicomposting unit designed for urban living. People actively recycle waste materials, but only a handful recycle their food waste.  By using its unique sliding tray system no direct contact with earth or worms is needed. It is designed to be situated in a kitchen, garden or balcony, allowing people the opportunity to compost in a clean and easy way wherever they live. The planters at the front require no maintenance, as the nutrients and water would be extracted directly from the u
  • Marks & Spencer Packaging
Marks & Spencer PackagingIn collaboration with Marks & Spencer, a brief was assigned to redesign sandwich skillets. The sandwich skillet has had a completely new redesign, both net and graphics. The net now opens up from the side, allowing a more intuitive action of opening. The tab has been located at the corner, making it clear that it is to be opened from here. Users are able to send disposable razors to Loop, and are rewarded with a premium razor when subscribing to the Loop shaving service, redirecting the waste away from landfill. The Loop team analysed consumer
  • Urban Insect Home
Urban Insect HomeThe Urban Insect Home is designed to encourage homeowners in cities to create a habitat for insects within their garden, that will suit their outdoor space. Gardens make up most of London’s green space when combined. This means they are a potentially vital habitats for important bug species. Gardens tend to be over-kept and designed in a way which just does not suit a wide range of insects.  Urban Insect Home takes the bug box idea and draws it away from the stack of logs/recycled waste that may
  • Kodo
KodoKodo is a contemporary aroma clock that releases a range of essential oils depending on the time of day. Inspired by ancient Asian incense clocks, this air freshener is a contemporary take on these artifacts. Incense clocks were used in China and Japan to create a sense of relaxation and calm, in both temples and homes. They were often intricate and beautiful, something that you would display as oppose to try to blend in.  The incense tray is split up into four sections, allowing a different ess
