Hello, My name is Ozlem Djafer and I am a freelance illustrator/print designer from London. Since graduating from my degree in Textiles and Surface Design in September 2013 I've been building up my business from scratch, I've shown my work at design shows in London such as New Designers, 100% Design, Designersblock and have been commissioned by WGSN. I have been working hard to carve a name for myself in the design industry, my work is extremely conceptual and focuses on the celebration of fashion and its eclectic cast of models, bloggers, etc. I create bespoke imagery that can be applied to all manner of different surfaces and is extremely colourful, playful and humourous. When I graduated I made the very sensible decision of working hard part time and injecting the money I made into my business without taking out a crippling business loan. 14 months down the line I am extremely happy with that decision. I'm looking to extend my line and produce more goods such as keyrings, magnets and cushions to sell on Londons Portobello Rd and then eventually progress to pop up shops and having my work stocked. I'm looking for opportunities that will enable me to work hard on my own projects yet learn new skills and meet different people everyday. I'm a fast learner, extremely hard working, honest and I have a great sense of humour!
