  • Juan Martin del Potro
Juan Martin del PotroProposed logo for Argentine tennis star Juan Martin del Potro. The ‘d’ and the ‘p’ of Juan Martin del Potro’s surname stand out first and foremost. On closer inspection, the serifs at the top of the letters also form two T’s which refer to his nickname 'La Torre de Tandil', or ‘The Tower Of Tandil’.
  • March Of Anger
March Of AngerSuitably angry video for March Of Anger track ‘Age Of Hate’. Shot by me (except where I’m playing) and edited by me. Not exactly Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’, but it’s a start.
  • Anti-Slavery
Anti-SlaveryA poster commemorating the 200th anniversary of the abolition of slavery. The client literally had no money, but that didn’t stop us. We found some cash for a stock image, I did all the artwork, a friendly suit sorted some free media space, and it happened. And won a Campaign Poster silver too. Also the president of HBO saw it outside their London office and requested a copy for his office in NYC. Which was nice.
  • T Mobile
    T MobileBus side advert.
  • March Of Anger
March Of AngerHeavy metal band March Of Anger didn’t just want a logo, but a piece of design that represented the band. I used the band’s initials to make an angry face, echoing their name and music. It was used on CD covers, T-shirts, flags, and it was even spotted stencilled on a wall, not by me I should add.
  • Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors' Showcase
Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors' ShowcaseThe brief to announce the call for entries for Saatchi & Saatchi’s New Directors’ Showcase was nothing new. It had been running for a number of years, but never before had it picked up an award. This was a brief open to the whole creative department and was shot by Chris Palmer, who was shot in the process of making this film.

When The Red Brick Road lost a major client the company downsized considerably. I was made redundant and decided to dive head first into the freelance market. Away from the relative comfort zone of full time agency life I had to learnt to hit the ground running. I’ve worked at many agencies, working on many clients and creating some nice work along the way. Y&R London, McCANN London, Logo Commercial Creative Partners, McCANN HumanCare, Saatchi Wellness, Grey London, FCB Inferno, SapientNitro, Publicis London, Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, Anomaly London, Minimart, This Is Real Art, Sudler & Hennessey. I joined Red Brick Road shortly before they merged with Ruby, their digital sister company. As a result I was able to take advantage and broaden my digital and social skills on clients such as Tesco, Magners and VW, as well as winning pitches. Accounts: Magners, Credit Expert, Suzuki, Tesco and VW Commercial Vehicles.
