Leading the sales team and reporting directly to the Managing Director, I am responsible for achieving 100% occupancy and identifying yield opportunities for the Nido building. Using and analysing data, we use a dynamic lead-generation model to ensure our marketing budget is utilised effectively, giving us the ability to move resources around to reach lead, opportunity and conversion targets.
I was responsible for ensuring magazines receive samples for photo shoots, checking with our coordinators if certain brands can be sent, as well as keeping a log of all samples sent and received throughout the company to assist with audits and stock checks I also manage the two sample interns we have.
I carried out this role for six months as a studio intern, working in a busy studio environment. My main day-to-day tasks entailed ensuring that all clothing and accessories were shot, all deadlines were met, encouraging photographers/stylists to flag if a set was running late, and to ensure a smooth flow of sample movement between the retouch and product editorial teams.
