About me
I am a skilled Project manager with previous experience in visual merchandising and retail management. I am a quick thinker, a problem solver and really enjoy the fast paced atmosphere that comes with project management. I have experience in working alone, in small and large teams, and thrive in managing teams to a tight time scale and high expectations from clients. I have spent the last year working for some of the largest names in the fashion industry like Cartier, Chanel, Burberry and many more and I understand that expectations, deadlines and budgets need to be met in line with their brand message and values. I have a first class degree in Visual Merchandising and experience in working with Rhino 3D, Sketch up and Adobe. I am able to help clients visualise and come up with ideas to enhance their visions as well as help with alternatives to adjust to changes within the brief. I work alongside our clients from the first meeting to understand the brief, throughout the full design and drawing stage in the office alongside the fabrication process managing the team in the workshop and onsite. I’m passionate about my career, I excel when under pressure, enjoy a challenge and always push myself and the team to deliver the best results possible.

To best describe what I do I thought it would be best to very briefly tell you what an average project would look like for me, baring in mind that this would be one of many projects happening at the same time. We would meet with the client and go through their visuals and deck of what they would like us to produce. Taking into account the materials they want to use, deadline, location, the client themselves, what is physically possible and of course budget. I would then go away and work on the costs for the project, looking at all elements of the build from production, drawing fees, materials, fabrication, transportation, installation and if needed de-rod and waste disposal. I would research the best possible suppliers for the materials or designs needed and compare quality and costs to get the best results. These costs would then be sent to the client with a breakdown of what materials and methods are used for each part of the build. Once signed off, and this can take a lot of back and forth with changing elements of the costs, we would begin drawings and ordering materials. 99% of every job we have come to us needs drawing up on CAD Rhino 3D software to enable us to give it to the guys in the workshop to build or send to the CNC machine to cut. I would then also order all materials through suppliers ensuring all lead times work with the completion date needed for the project. Once all drawings and materials are ordered the boys can begin to fabricate. As always plans change and sometimes the client want to change elements of the build, it’s my responsibility to make these changes possible within the lead time budget and what is physically possible to build. Once all is fabricated it’s time to install. This is where we get to see the vision come to life and where long days and nights on site are filled with me checking on all elements of the installation are going to plan as well as making sure the client is happy and checking up on other projects we are currently working on
