About me
My name is Panayota and I am a confident and exuberant Greek girl, born and bred in South Africa who moved to London six years ago to quench my thirst for filmmaking.
I have been a Producer for the past five years working at creative in-house agencies for two big international companies. The projects I’ve worked on have ranged from global live action shoots to integrated media campaigns and thought-provoking animations.
I work across many disciplines including concepting, pitching, co-ordination, budgeting, script editing, shooting, video editing and even voice over work.
I pour all my energy and focus into whatever I’m working on even when juggling multiple projects and love to push the boundaries to achieve more and better myself.

- Endless PossibilityFor this project, we were tasked with creating a quirky video for Thomson Reuters' flagship financial product called Eikon which is the main competitor to Bloomberg. The idea was to capture the imagination of third party app developers as the project was focusing on being an open platform space, a place for great new ideas to develop within the Eikon space. We decided to use post-it notes as they are a great metaphor for brain storming and ideation. we used black post-its to resemble the user
- Thomson Reuters Org IDThis is an animation that I conceptualised and co-produced. One of the challenges when working within the financial industry is creating an interesting aesthetic to tell the story. KYC Managed Service is a service Thomson Reuters provides to clients who need vital information on businesses that they partner with. It was described to us as a 'passport to do business' and that is how we came up with the pop-up book creative.
- Reuters News: Reuters Live OnlineThis is a video I produced and co-directed. Reuters Live Online is a revolutionary product in the news world, offering 3 simultaneous live news streams. We spent months conducting interviews with key people in the Reuters news department to create a more in-depth piece on the subject.

Work history
Multimedia Producer
As Multimedia Producer, I work across Thomson Reuter's in-house video and photography teams, overseeing an eclectic mix of projects across the different branches of the business. Our work includes integrated multimedia campaigns, event coverage, promo videos, interviews and custom photography shoots.
When working on a video project, I will see a production through from the first stages of pre-production, right up until the point of final delivery, being involved every step of the way. I get involved creatively in concepting and script editing, putting together budgets and scheduling, coordinating shoots and overseeing edits.
With custom photography shoots, I will assist with casting, coordination and art direction.
I believe a producer's job is to do whatever task is needed to get the job done so that means being flexible and ready for any challenge!

I spent three years nurturing and expanding video content on a brand new website called Citi Velocity - an internal and client facing portal providing access to cross-product research, analytics and E-trading.
As a production team of one, I was responsible for planning, shooting, editing and distributing video content online for Citi Velocity in London which consisted mainly of short promo videos, interviews and new product demos. I also edited all video content produced out of our Asia offices.
I provided basic media training for first time video contributors and frequently stepped in front of the camera acting as interviewer and presenter when it was required of me.

I did a four year, honours' degree in Television and drama, majoring in television production at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
I was also involved in an exchange program in my last year of studies which saw me spend 3 months at Arcada in Helsinki, Finland working on documentaries.
My major areas of focus during university were documentary and music video.
