I am a passionate and detail-driven product design engineer with the ability to identify opportunities and then translate these ideas through formats such as sketching, CAD modelling, rendering and physical prototyping.
I can take ideas from paper to product, knowing how to impact the way goods are manufactured and used by the consumer - getting a real buzz from taking the initiative and redefining expectations.
Throughout my previous roles, I have used my research, development, and product design skills to identify a user's precise needs, having tackled projects in the fields of industrial design, manufacturing, packaging and branding.
In addition, I enjoy creating technology videos for YouTube, visiting the cinema, playing board games, and listening to/collecting vinyl records in my free time.
Projects
- DampenFree items given out on planes have been reported as highly unhygienic. Most notably, headphones, whose foam ear cups are hardly ever changed unless torn. Single-use earphones provide a solution to this problem but contribute toward a larger one surrounding sustainability. Dampen headphones use replaceable water-soluble padding to provide an alternative solution to existing in-flight headphones, battling e-waste and reducing the spread of harmful bacteria.
