- Raise Your VoiceAs part of a small team working with the Uprising leadership course, I helped run a campaign with an aim to increase political awareness among young people. We organised workshops with local young people on Merseyside with a focus on informing them about subjects such as democracy and political processes in a fun and entertaining way. Our key activity involved a character known as 'Mr. Smiles' - an MP running for the fictional 'nasty' party (any similarities with real political parties purely coincidental), who would stand on a platform of ideas that the Kids would hate. We would get the kids to formulate their own ideas to run against our MP, and demonstrate how democracy can allow them to vote out someone who does not represent their interests.

I am responsible for monitoring and recording all of the Council's income, and allocating monies to the correct departments. I am a contact within the Council for all financial related queries and aid local residents with issues with payments
