Throughout my time at Karla Otto, I gained significant in-depth experience of the workings of a fashion public relations agency. Each month offered a breadth of new and relevant experience. At Karla Otto, I spent my first month familiarizing myself with the company through being placements on reception, archives, and logistics/ returns. The second and third month I was able to utilize my familiarity with Fashion GPS and public relations through directly working under teams of account directors, junior account directors and assistants with specific clients. In those two months, I was taking care of sample selections, assisting send-outs, being a liaison between the client and my chosen team, as well as organizing the showrooms efficiently. I was also asked to assist with a major store opening of a significant client of Karla Otto London upon which I worked closely with the VIP/ Celebrity team. My time at Karla Otto gave me an insight into the fast-paced, thrilling style of a fashion PR agency.

Finally, the largest component of my role consists of social media promotion and coverage through continous engagement through Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram throughout the workday.
