Intern to Editorial Team at Elle Decoration

  • 3 week internship for Elle Decoration Magazine. Working closely with the magazines editors and stylists. - Created mini 'archive' of Elle decoration magazines dating from 2012 - present for visual reference, thus generating more studio storage space. - Made contact sheets using adobe bridge and Microsoft Word for stylists to take on photo shoots. - Sorting stock room, packing and unpacking stock. Liaising closely with the post room. - Research into potential products for shoot and creating concept sheets.

  • 2 week internship assisting the Visual Merchandising team for Homeware. Primary responsibilities included assisted in the planning, erecting and merchandising of product within the Christmas and Toy shop. And the replenishing and merchandising of the food department. - Personally unpacked all the chrome shelving throughout the Toy Shop, to speed up merchandising progress. - Generated better access to props by organising the visual departments stock room. - Assisted on window display celebrating the birth if the royal baby. - Highlighted my creativity and resourcefulness by creating props for the Denim Studio.

Daily Responsibilities included leasing closely with the visual team. - Assisted with window installations in Jaeger's Flagship Store at Regent Street. - Represented the brand image by acting as an intermediary between head office and Jaeger stores. - helped with the unpacking, moving and assembling of 40 new mannequins to the store - Collated images for brand research
