I am a diligent, efficient and punctual individual who thrives when working as part of a team. I have a broad range of experience having worked in TV and Film (predominantly in Visual Effects). I'm currently looking for a job as a Line Producer / Producer role having successfully finished work on Skyfall for Double Negative in London. I have over 8 years worth of visual effects experience and in the last two years I have worked as a Line Producer on two major films. I put in all the hours that are needed to run a successful show. I feel that since becoming a Line Producer, I've really flourished in the role. I enjoy working with the supervisors in creating a thorough schedule, creating milestones that fit in with the delivery of our work and providing a happy working environment for our crew. I received bidding and producing experience on my last project having sat and studied from my main Producer. I'd be extremely keen to take my career to the next level. I also consider myself to be mature and well balanced. I enjoy working in a changing and challenging environment. I have also been writing screenplays since I was in my early teens and this continues to be a passion. I have read widely about many aspects of film and the film industry and have taken courses to deepen my understanding. Professional career 2011 – 2012 Visual Effects Line Producer (Facility) Double Negative • Skyfall I was the sole Line Producer on Skyfall. We successfully delivered 431 shots for 3 sequences. I helped develop the schedule and designed pages on Shotgun for the crew. I worked alongside our supervisors to help manage almost 200 crew members. 2009 – 2011 Visual Effects Line Producer (Facility) Double Negative • John Carter of Mars At the start of the film, I effectively ran the Asset department for 12 months as the Creature Coordinator. This included all the film’s main alien characters and digi doubles of the lead actors. I then became a Line Producer for a Unit; which included Creature FX, Shot Sculpt and Cloth and Fur Sim. 2008 - 2009 Visual Effects Coordinator (Facility) Prime Focus World • Inside Planet Earth • How the Earth Made Us As Visual Effects Coordinator for two television programs, I gained insight of the inner workings of transmissions and working to tighter deadlines. I liaised with the client on a daily basis ensuring targets were met and shots were delivered on time and to the Director’s specifications. I also assisted in scheduling the artists and reporting back to my producer. 2008 Visual Effects Coordinator (Client) Noisette Production • The Nutcracker As Visual Effects Coordinator, I worked on the Client side of the Nutcracker. My duties included visiting facilities, managing with the facilities the delivery of work both shared assets and completed shots, the delivery of shots to D.I. This helped broaden my knowledge of how both vendor and facilities go hand in hand. 2003 – 2008 Visual Effects Coordinator (Facility) The Moving Picture Company • The Chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian (2007-2008) • Sweeney Todd (2006-2007) • Sunshine (2006) • Curse of the Golden Flower (2006) • Casino Royale (James Bond) (2006) • Xmen : The Last Stand (aka Xmen 3) (2005 – 2006) • Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Wererabbit (2005) As Visual Effects Coordinator, I managed various departments for both 2D and 3D. My responsibilities included conversing with clients on a daily basis for shot deliveries, deadlines and turnover material. I gained considerable experience of post production as well as experience of editing, Linux, File Maker Pro and Nucoda. I learned how to handle clients with confidence, enabling me to build up my interpersonal skills. I also worked on 3 projects simultaneously which helped develop my multi-tasking skills.
