This role consist of leading all production and planning for the day of the event. Overseeing all of the roles happening on the day of your event related to content production, stage management, technology, and video. Managing most of the event’s day-of logistics, and responsible for creating a “TEDx experience” for the guests. Serving as the contact with the venue’s staff, manages day-of event activities outside of the main stage, and are often in charge of ticketing and registration needs. Overseing the video and production of the event – from managing audio and video needs, camera operators and the livestream of the event.
I organized an exhibition called "Dix ans de fouilles au Plateau des Cinques" with a very small team. This exhibition presents the results of ten years of research done on a plateau where there is a celtic fort dating from 1000 BC until the end of the Belgian Iron Age.
I created, managed, and grew a website about Korean Fashion. The website's aim was to reproduce popular Korean Idols outfits with affordable and available brands for Europeans and Americans. The website ended with a following of over 6000+ people and a good awareness in the community. However, the website became overall time very consuming and I wanted to focus on my education first.
For three years, I was the director of this music group's fan club in Belgium. The role consisted in publishing press releases, communication with the fans, managing and monitoring the forumn organazing promotional events (street-teams) and fan meet ups, fan events at concerts, content production on the different web properties, newsletter publishing, online contests, etc. At its peak, the community counted over 5000 members.
Radio Edit was a year long company formed by students in the framework of an organization called "les jeunes entreprises". This is a non-profit organization encouraging young people to challenge their potential in the entrepreneurial sector. My team's company organized a small festival called "Fake Gig Night" with four competing groups and one headlining group in the Brussels area, with the goal of promoting Belgian groups in the area.
