About me

I am a motion designer about to finish BA (Hons) Motion Graphics at Ravensbourne, university based in London. I am fascinated about the art of animation weather it is a flat 2D infographic, something abstract in 3D or hand made stop frame animation. I believe that the best work comes from attention to detail. I love experimenting with the work I do and often try to involve crafts and drawing to make things more authentic.

Projects

• Twitter InfographicThis was a project for second year motion graphics course at Ravensbourne. I was given Twitter randomly and had to create a motion infographic about it. Music and voice are by Henry Jackson Janes
• Stranger Than FictionThis was another project for second year motion graphics course at Ravensbourne. I had to choose one of three briefs and I chose to promote the Science Museum exhibition of Joan Fontcuberta called Stranger Than Fiction.
• Sky Arts StingEverything was made using stop frame animation. I cut out each letter of the word ARTS 12 times. Three different size groups of four. I used wire and tape to stand them up on a cardboard base. One of the groups was reversed to make an illusion of the camera filming from behind. For camera movement I used a pin and two rullers to move the whole scene one millimeter every frame.

For two years I was working in a skate shop called Club Blue Room in Marble Arch. I was responsible for poster and coupon designs and promotional animations on their screens. This job gave me an understanding about the challenges that come up when working with clients.
