I am a final year University of Aberdeen student pursuing my MA Business Management degree with a strong interest in the marketing field. I am particularly interested in the role that branding, sensory marketing and digital technologies play in changing trends of consumer behaviour. I also have a growing interest in digital marketing and analytics and their impact on successful execution of strategic marketing campaigns. Alongside my studies I have gained a B2B marketing experience working for an environmental technologies company, initially starting as a Marketing Assistant and within nine months being promoted to a part-time co-ordinator role. This includes a variety of marketing responsibilities such as coordination of marketing campaigns, projects and external consultants as well as content creation, budget management, analytics tracking, market research and occasional graphic design. Over the past year, I also had the privilege of co-leading a Formula Student team of 50+ members in a role of a Commercial Director, after a team selection process last year. Apart from other project management duties, the role also involved sourcing of sponsorships, messaging and brand alignment across all channels and strengthening the team's relationships with its industry partners through attendance of various networking events and exhibitions. Ultimately, I intent to continuously expand my current marketing knowledge through industry practice as well as academic research in order to predict and strategically prepare for the upcoming trends of the global markets.
