WHO I AM ------------ I’m a young graphic designer, traveling the world as an expatriate since age 6. I’ve built myself on this multicultural background, observing and absorbing from it. Happy 2014 graduate from London College of Communication, I went to experiment designer’s life in different places such as London and Hong Kong, where I had the chance to learn and work on projects from concept to production, cooperating and working with strategists, interior, product and graphic designers from all over the world. I always try to build inventive strategies to put substance and innovation at the heart of my projects. I still naively (or not) believe that Designers aren’t here just to make things pretty but to innovate and find smart solutions to adventurous problems. As I give a lot of importance to good ethics and sustainability in my professional and personal life, I’m looking to grow in an environment that would allow me to test and improve my knowledge and feed my designer’s skills. WHAT I LOVE --------------- Innovate and erase boundaries between different design areas to push creative thinking and introduce new solutions made-to-measure. Overcome great challenges. The more complex the problem is, the best it enables me to extract strong concepts, based on deep research and ingenious strategy. Absorb and gather new technical abilities through experiences and people to perfect my skills palette and always learn new things. Keep a dynamic and positive thinking through my working proccess. If one option doesn’t work, the next one will! It’s a great satisfaction to be able to turn things around. Stay open and always getting deeper into the unknown. Be curious and interested about every subjects. That’s what’s great about being a designer. Inspiration is everywhere.
Mainly worked for trendy or high-end restaurants and jewelry brands within a team made of Graphic Designers, Strategists, Interior Designers and Product Designers. + Brainstorm and come up with conceptual ideas and solutions answering clients’ needs, within a team or on my own + Develop a full strategy & atmosphere around clients’ brands & products + Meet directly with clients + Create Logo identities + Develop & adapt new fonts + Create illustrations for branding collaterals as well as interior design + Develop full Brand identities + Revise exisiting logos + Write clean & insipring stories to explain clearly each concept to clients. + Create clean mock ups and presentations for clients’ regular meetings + Develop identities & concepts onto collaterals (stationary, packaging, take away items, facade signage, mural art, way finding, various menus, coasters, swizzles, etc...) + Select a range of appropriate color, paper, & material palette. + Work as one with the Interior Design team to create a coherent overall design + Help the interior team on renders, etc... + Create patterns to be applied/engraved in furnitures and other interior items + Create designs for various staff uniforms + Source different suppliers best suited for each design collateral + Create all templates & production files + Be fully responsible of all production aspects of a project on my own + Directly deal & discuss with suppliers on various design details & samples to solve production problems + Work as a team on different projects + Work on very thight timelines & strict opening deadlines
