About me
Cardiff-born, London-based Pete Fowler roams the worlds of music, illustration, toy design, printmaking, painting, commercial projects, and cross-stitch embroidery through his art.
His more recognizable images have been for rock band Super Furry Animals' albums, videos, and merchandise. He counts Sony, GQ, Kia Motors, Volvic, Disney, and Paul Smith as clients, too.
Fowler exhibits his original artwork internationally and recently had his first solo show in four years at the Wales Millennium Centre (February 2013). It was followed by additional solo shows at Beach in East London, Outlaws Yacht Club in Leeds, and Team Love Gallery in New York.
His newer projects include designing a pair of one-off synthesizers for XL Records, illustrating a Christmas campaign for O2, and creating a toy figure with legendary British comic 2000 AD. Fowler has also achieved a worldwide fan base with his product line, Monsterism.
