About me

My name is Pete and I am a Visual Effects/Motion Graphics Design Artist from Manchester, UK. I have worked in the industry for the past few years both studying 3D Visual Effects and university, where a graduated with a First Class degree in the Summer of 2015, and working for various clients both in Manchester and in America. These clients include the BBC and feature film and documentary filmmakers across the world. Some of my software skills include: After Effects (+plug-ins including Red Giant, Video Co-Pilot), Nuke, Photoshop, Muse, PowerPoint, Word, Premiere Pro, Maya, Boujou, DaVinci Resolve. I am the Co-Founder of Tempered Pixel Studios, where I work as a Motion Graphics Artist and Visual Effects Generalist in the partnership, but I am currently looking to expand my experience and love for the media industry further by producing creative content with other creative companies in the Manchester area.

  E4 E-Sting 2015Created a 10-second E-Sting for E4's yearly ident competition. This included filming and the footage, creatively bringing the idea the life using visual effects and compiling the finished video together along with music.

Co-Founder of a partnership between myself and 4 other filmmakers, visual effects artists, cinematographers and videographers called Tempered Pixel. Worked with various clients whilst being part of this business including the BBC, ITV Studios, Bohemian Industries, Subvisual FX and lots of other feature films, documentaries and short films both in the UK and the USA. I actively run the company including creating the online marketing the social networking channels, create and maintain the website, edit and produce visual effect work on the original content that we create through YouTube.
