About me
Previously studied a one year MA in Culture, Policy and Management at City, University of London. Having a passion for the charity, culture and creative industries I have developed my career skills in this area. Prior to study had managerial roles in business projects, sponsorship and events. Specific experience in project management, exhibitions, events and fundraising. Most recently been General Manager at ActionSpace, a London based visual arts organisation within the charity sector. They support artists with learning disabilities and create innovative projects for people with learning disabilities to engage with the visual arts.. The principal aim of the role is to support the two Joint Chief Executives in the development and growth of the organisation and to ensure that the objectives of the new four-year business plan are achieved. Other Projects: Commissioned as co-curator of The Garage Soho window space at 62 Dean Street, Soho, London since September 2016. From which I led and co-project managed a strategy relaunch of the space as The Smallest Gallery in Soho in February 2018 alongside crowdfunding campaign. My brief has been to activate the space by exhibiting free and engaging artwork that captures people’s attention on their journey through Soho and encourage them to stop, think or be inspired. By doing so, the space offers something different on the streets of Soho, while retaining a creative dimension for the local community. Artists have included, Schoony, Iain Macarthur and a display called ‘For Grenfell’, keeping the topic of the story alive by displaying a poem from the renowned poet Musa Okwonga in the style of demonstration placards by the artist and designer Hannah Dickins. https://www.instagram.com/thesmallestgalleryinsoho/

Using it as a form of artistic expression, My art aims to give out a social message and has inspired many men, women and children who are affected by something negative in their life to embrace their problem and use it in a positive way through art and creativity. This led to my debut exhibition ‘Headism’, sponsored by Gillette, showcasing head designs that have now become iconic around the world. This crea

Those who had this as their neighbourhood, who made Soho’s spirit - that is being commercialised today for visitor’s consumption. Like many other areas of London. The space depicts a domestic space that has been created in parallel with artist William Martin’s artworks, alongside a variety of pieces that make up this character’s life and memories.
