  • D&AD x Monotype - Activate Your Cause
    D&AD x Monotype - Activate Your CauseBrief Take a cause you believe in and use the power of type to make a difference. Design with typography to agitate, educate and organise the world and your audience. ----------- The aim for my campaign "DoYouMindTheGap" was to develop an integrated solution to raise awareness of the gender pay gap. Even in 2017 women get paid 20% less on average than men in the same roles. So I wanted to create a type which illustrated just how damaging the gender pay gap is. 20% of the alphabet equates to five letters, so, by removing the vowels I could create a set of posters symbolising the damage the deficit had on our economy without hindering the message.
