Artist Relations & Communications InternSony Music UK
For the last six months, I have been part of the Artist Relations department at Sony Music Entertainment. Jobs include organising tickets for label contacts at Sony artist shows, hospitality, helping at events and album launches, and birthday presents for all Sony artists. From the Communications part of the role, I curate a media briefing of online and newspaper cuttings to send to the exec committee, organise the weekly Comms meeting, update the internal staff website, and assist VP Communications Ben Todd.
Presenter, Producer and The CSRFM Review Show
     -
Since late 2013, I have hosted, produced and researched a music review show with co-host Will Butler. Each week, we reviewed new songs released and discuss our opinions about said releases. Roles included researching the show, sourcing tracks and a guest, uploading tracks to Myriad, and editing audio for the weekly podcast. You can hear previous shows here: https://www.mixcloud.com/CSRReviewShow/

Education
BA(Hons) in English and Philosophy, 2.1
     -
My course was a joint honours between English Literature and Philosophy. I focused mainly on more modern texts within English, my favourite module an indepth look into Black Poetry and writings in North America in the 20th and 21st century. With Philosophy, I chose mainly to focus on the ethics side of the course, looking particularly into Political Philosophy and its relevance to the world we live in.
