My name is Philippine Bouchez and I am a French illustrator based in London looking for freelancing and art licensing opportunities with companies of all sizes.
My art is about mindfulness, our connection to nature as human beings and I particularly love creating women empowered, beach and coastal themed illustrations. I use earthy colour palettes to give a sense of serenity and groundedness to my illustrations. Nature has always been my predominant source of inspiration, considering what nurtures and grounds us.
I am open for client commissions and I am also specialising in surface design and art licensing. I would love to collaborate with companies such as Art Angels, the V&A or Canns Down Press.
My work is a blend of traditional and digital media and my interests include greeting cards, fine art prints and home decor.
I occasionally trade at local farmer’s and seasonal markets.

- Dolce FarnienteAcrylic on canvas 40*40 cm Dolce Farniente means « the sweetness of doing nothing ». It is an invitation to unwind, relax and let go of the pressure one can feel to constantly be working, be productive, and a reminder of the importance to stop and appreciate being in the present moment, and enjoy the sweetness of doing nothing.
