Sep 2010 - Feb 2012
  • Home of Metal celebrates Birmingham and the Black Country as the birthplace of Heavy Metal and in 2011 held 12 exhibitions, a film festival, an academic conference and various events. With a press campaign reaching over 3 billion people and an editorial value of over a £1 million, it was a huge success. As Project Manager my role involved liaising with partner museums and galleries, funders and sponsors. I contributed to the curatorial process, managed the Marketing team, developed brand identity, maintained budgets and oversaw the planning and delivery of the project as a cohesive whole.

Creative Project Manager Clarity Transmission Graphics

Sky

May 2007 - Jul 2008
  • Creative Project Manager for the implementation of new graphics devices (Clarity) in transmission across all 22 Sky channels. This project affected many otherwise unconnected departments and as a key stakeholder and single point of contact, my communication skills and reports were crucial. My role also included building and managing the Clarity Creative Department, establishing workflows, recruiting and staff training. In consultation with the Design Department, I created graphic templates ensuring brand consistency and usability. The launch of Clarity for each Sky Channel required strict timelines and inter-departmental negotiations.
