I'm an illustrator and print maker currently based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. Using mostly traditional methods I create ink line illustrations, as well as entirely hand carved, printed and pulled lino prints. (With the occasional digital touch up.) A lot of my time is spent rummaging in flea markets and antique shops for inspiration. Stylistically I am inspired by medieval European woodblocks, Art Nouveau, Victorian advertisements, 60s & 70s gig posters, old postcards antique matchboxes as well as Japanese woodblock prints. Previous work ranges from album artwork, gig posters, logos and designs for for the entertainment & music industries, as well as for small independent businesses. These previous projects have allowed me to develop my practice. I enjoy gaining & nurturing more skills through completing exciting new commissions, as well as working alongside collaborators and through self motivated projects. If you would like anything commissioned for you, feel free to get in touch! I'd love to hear from you. firstname.lastname@example.orgLocked Pro Plan feature

Prior to my attainment of a 2:1 in English Literature, I spent a year studying as a motion graphics & animation design student at Northumbria University. Here I attained and maintained a working knowledge of Adobe software including Photoshop and InDesign as well as Autodesk Maya. This allowed me to develop fundamental knowledge of producing a digital profile, enabling me to build my portfolio, of which I still utilise to date. This is demonstrative of my design wok of album sleeves, logo & website design as well as illustrations for the student magazine. Furthermore I developed and maintained an Artsthread profile to showcase my work that I completed during this year of study.
