About me

I am a passionate textile designer specialising in surface pattern design, and I have recently completed my final year at Manchester Metropolitan University. My work is inspired by my appreciation for beautiful interior decoration, playful colour, and hand drawn illustrations. Creating exciting concepts for my designs with a specific market in mind is a key aspect of my creative process, and I believe that each individual design I carefully create tells a unique story.

  ENCHANTED GARDENSThis project was inspired by the romantic symbolism behind traditional chinoiserie art...contextualised within a wedding ceremony of each season. Combining my research of seasonal, floral, colour and bird symbolism within Chinese culture, with my passion for playful interior decoration... 'Enchanted Gardens' demonstrates the ultimate wedding ceremony/bridal suite for every season.

  ORCHID BLOOMBringing the outdoors in... my 'Orchid Bloom' piece is a large-scale, hand painted mural design inspired by the beautiful Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. Contextualised within a luxury Eco hotel in Singapore, 'Orchid Bloom' incorporates elements of biophillic design to create an immersive experience for every guest. This piece was hand painted at scale: 6ft x 8ft.

  WINTER TROPICSFollowing the concept of story telling... this project was inspired by my own precious memories of travelling the world, witnessing beautiful creatures and extraordinary wonders of the world. Each idea, drawing and design within my 'Winter Tropics' project has a unique, hidden story behind it. Designs within this collection are contextualised for glamorous interiors and homewares.
