Pieteke Korte completed her studies at the Man and Identity department at the Design Academy Eindhoven, where, over the course of her training, she evolved to become a truly multitalented artist. Her portfolio now includes the following: material designer, texture designer, visual artist, trend anticipator and art director with a focus on haptics and atmosphere. Korte’s work is driven by the daring and stormy nature of haute couture and an honest enthusiasm for material, texture, surface and colour. With humour and intuition, she creates objects that belong equally to the fields of art and design.

- You Are Over The LineYou Are Over The Line was a interior concept developed around gender non-conformity and the world of sports– Pieteke Korte worked in close collaboration with a group of designers (and close friends) to develop the interior for the Fall 2015 interior of You Are Here– A fashion concept store in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. With a focus on normative sports they developed a interior out of sporting materials, apparatus, and graphic elements; a topsy turvy world of court lines, football nets and basketball hoops. The two seemingly nebulous worlds of gender non-conformity and sports were combined to emphasize that sometimes it takes stepping over the line to make changes for the better.
