At present I am the Strategic Partnership Manager for Taste of London Summer/Festive and within The prestigious World Restaurant Awards. Creating experiential culinary moments, connecting our partners to our advocates through immersive experiences. I keep my theatre passion alive by volunteering for theatre companies such as ‘You Me Bum Bum Train’ and being a part of an Amateur Dramatics Group ‘Southside Players’. Within these I have taken on Stage Management roles and been keen to be versatile to whichever role was needed of me at the time. These include; Acting, Stage Management, Set Design, Set build and Front of house. I previously worked at Reed Exhibitions, selling and organising trade shows. The role required versatility, multi-tasking and creativity. I was awarded Sales Person of the Year. After getting 210% of my Sponsorship target for the year. After graduating I worked as a professional actor. Acting on the stage but also taking on various roles behind the scene including; stage management, program intern and a wardrobe apprentice.
Having come from an immersive/creative background my role is to create experiences for partners within our events. It has never been more important for consumers to feel that they gain meaningful interactions with brands and it it my role to help create this. Developing relationships with partners to build on their objectives and KPI's through our portfolio of events. It is my role to connect the companies campaign and story to our audiences through developing a creative solution and seeing the project through to the end. I connect the in-house creative team, wider company and the culinary portfolio as first point of contact for all.
I volunteered as part of the cast and set build for ‘You Me Bum Bum Train’. Within this I have taken on Stage Management roles and been keen to be versatile to whichever role was needed of me at the time. These include; Acting, Stage Management, Set Design, Set build and Front of house.
I am a part of the ammeter dramatics group Southside Players. As a part of this group I get involved with acting/directing/writing/set design. This is how I keep my real passion of theatre alive, I want to move back into this field as understand that this is what my real passion is. I moved into a more commercial field thinking that a stable career focus was where I was more interested for my future. But i have now discovered this is not the case. My love of creativity outweighs all. I want to share this passion through my work.
My course was focused around modern theatre, predominantly Immersive and Site Specific work. Studying new theatre in all its forms. Looking at emerging trends of the time, working with site specific and technology advancements. I was particularly entranced by the engagement of the audience, tearing down the fourth wall . My real passion is to find a theatre form for everyone.
To win this award I created outstanding relationships with my clients and was awarded out of a sales force of 200 people.
