Polona Dolzan is a London-based curator with a background in theatre design and creative direction. Her focus is curating events, exhibitions and performance. She has also curated projects internationally including an exhibition on emerging UK based fashion talent in MuseumsQuartier in Vienna as well a number of Friday Late events including Kensington Gore! (2012), Go Figure at Wanderlust, Paris (2012) and Yohji Yamamoto at Play (2011). Polona has also organised and curated events at the SHUNT Lounge as well as established and coordinated multimedia collaborations with designers and artists. She has project managed various exhibitions and events at the V&A, notably the architecture retrospective Heatherwick Studio: Designing the Extraordinary. After an exciting year with the interior designer extraordinaire, Harriet Anstruther, Polona has been appointed Curatorial and Project Assistant at the Fashion Space Gallery and the International Exhibitions Programme at London College of Fashion in January 2014.

Co-curated with Emma Bell, the exhibition focuses on the industry's most forward thinking creatives from all over the world who are based in the UK, including designers; Louise Gray, Charlie Le Mindu, Scott Ramsay Kyle, Piers Atkinson, Dashing Tweeds, Louise Amstrup, Cooperative Designs, Nicholas Kirkwood and Craig Lawrence. Also presenting as part of this showcase are creative talents from complimenting industries including contributors; photographers Matthew Brindle and Thom Will, Illustrator Laura Bell, fashion film from Mirrored Palm (Margarita Louca), animator Will Adams and Stylist Alexis Knox. The project is supported in co-operation with The British Embassy Vienna and The Federal Ministry for European Affairs alongside a selection of respected sponsors and media partners. freiraum quartier21 INTERNATIONAL, MuseumsQuartier, Vienna. June 10th 2010- September 12th 2010 Upon conclusion the exhibition received almost 30.000 visitors - a record breaking number for the host venue.

Duties included: - Liaising with the curator and designers' studios, as well as internal V&A departments - Dealing with government indemnity - Assisting with scheduling and exhibition install - Object handling during installation - Proofing exhibition text - Collating object lists - Liaising with lenders - Minuting meetings - Making travel arrangements - Peparing courier packs and general admin.

Duties included: - Managing logistics for the A/W 2006 show at Caroussel du Louvre in Paris - Organising loans and sales of artefacts for Anglomania exhibition at MET and Radical Fashion at AIANY, New York - Archive keeping and overseeing storage facilities - Couriering, handling and condition checking loans for Musée Galliéra in Paris - Answering all enquiries related to the studio including those from press and stylists.
