Product Manager

Management
- Manage a team of designers and developers to ensure products are being created on time and to the high level of quality required
- Schedule, manage and lead internal product reviews with the Creative Director, ensuring feedback is recorded and applied
- Manage the design and development of the product branding materials
- Co-ordinate the activity of the Product team with the Projects, Graphic and PR department
- Induct and teach new members of staff within the department
- One of two senior team members to manage the relocation and set up of the whole studio from London to Amsterdam
Planning
- Create the critical path for all in-house and external development and production of all garments and accessories
- Pre-empt potential problems that could delay progress, work to prevent them and ensure alternative solutions are ready to be put in to action
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously with both in-house and external teams
Communication
- Work with international brands, factories and mills on developments, collaborations and production
- Source and purchase all collection fabrics and trims through research and international trade shows
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Source and work with UK based factories for development and sampling, giving detailed instruction and making sure feedback is applied
- Manage, teach and empower an incredibly diverse, multi-cultural team of staff and interns – most of which English was not their first language
Finance
- Build, manage and adhere to the full departmental budget
- Work with the Studio Coordinator to develop more efficient systems and data sheets to develop and analyse garment costings and profit margins
- Document invoices, expenses and studio costs
H-R Manage, review and shortlist applications for all new posts - Conduct interviews for all new department staff
- Conduct progress reviews with staff
(INTERIM)
- Research and create advertising proposals for all new posts within the brand
- Work and communicate with international universities to confirm placements for all students
- Write reports on student placements, giving feedback on their work and progress
- Manage the safety and well-being of all members of the team, including staff and interns
- Write references for all staff and interns
