          • BA Translation and interpretation (English - Chinese - German) ‘Yunnabian’ Annual Summer Camp at Goutou School, a project designed to enrich left-behind children's summer vacation and improve the breadth of education in a disadvantaged village with underdeveloped education system in Southwest China. I have been planning, executing, and advising on this project since 2013. Achievements as team leader in 2014: ▪ Won a funding of over 10,000 RMB from NGO/NPOs by pitching the project plan. ▪ Raised 28,165 RMB for 250 sets of new desks through online fundraising platforms and offline campaigns. ▪ Connected 5 individual sponsors with 5 local students to provide financial aid. ▪ Gained a donation of hundreds of books and sports equipment by liaising with corporates. ▪ Demonstrated excellent project management skills by preserving 5,000 RBM for use in next financial year. ▪ Secured long-term NPO funders and corporate sponsors by delivering reports on the short- and long-term impact of the project by preparing visual and report-based content. Achievements of the project: ▪ Funded 30 students to prevent them from dropping out of middle school due to financial difficulties. ▪ Built an IT infrastructure for the school and set up a school library with over 1200 books on various topics. ▪ Raised awareness of self-protection/defense against child abuse by delivering sex education workshops. ▪ Provided personal counselling and exposure to the wider world by designing and delivering psychology & selfawareness workshops. ▪ Equipped students with earthquake-prevention skills through mock drills. ▪ Effectively raised the issues of water supply and sanitation in the village by conducting an onsite research and outlining hazards in a report submitted to the local bureau. ▪ 95-98% of the summer camp attendees each year (circa 200) stated that they will join again next year. ▪ Published in local newspaper for excellent work.
