  • • Cass Art is London’s leading independent art supplies retailer, with 6 stores across the capital. • Developing and implementing PR activity in line with the marketing strategy, securing editorial coverage and product placement in print and online media. Duties included writing press releases, managing distribution and mail outs, managing all media enquiries, building and maintaining a contact database, developing an extensive image bank, media monitoring and reporting all coverage. • Management of all social media portals, including content planning, writing and monitoring, providing analysis and creating action reports on a monthly basis. This required implementation of strategy, building channels and increasing customer engagement online. • Coordinating Cass Art’s CRM strategy, managing in-store sign up forms, data entry and analysing data providing monthly reports. • Project managing email delivery – working with all stakeholders to agree creative, message, segment, timings and scheduling. Planning and writing creative content for e-newsletters, distributing via MailChimp, delivering against key objectives and KPIs and accurately interpreting email data. The open rate and click through rate for newsletters is currently higher than the industry average. • Writing creative content for the company website, site maintenance, uploading new content in line with brand activity and edit existing pages. Analysis and reporting on website statistics month on month to improve overall performance against targets, unique visitor numbers increased from 15,000 in Aug to 27,000 in February. • Assist with ad hoc PR and Marketing duties as required by the Marketing Manager.

  • • Administrative support in the implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns. Including organising print runs of promotional materials in line with budgets, ordering posters, banners, advertising boards and leaflets, and proof reading all print material before the final sign off process. • Management of social media channels; point of contact for marketing and promotion enquiries by email and phone; diary management for Head of Press & Marketing and departmental diaries; write/draft letters, documents, reports, etc as requested. • Maintain display of promotional leaflets, posters and offers across RA buildings; develop and administer off-site print distribution for UK and overseas; liaise with internal departments and external organisations on set-up of promotions; maintain print item schedule and archive of all marketing collateral; and maintain, up-date and develop marketing mailing lists. • Work with the Rights & Reproductions team securing permissions for picture usage on print and promotional material. • Monitor specific areas of the marketing budget. • Organise all the logistics of marketing events such as Saturday Social and reader and listener events. • Management and support for Marketing Interns. • Undertake any other tasks required by the Head of Press & Marketing or Marketing Officers.
