During my time at Beaverbrooks I have developed my knowledge of Marketing and gained confidence using my skills as part of the in-house team. My role here involves a variety of different responsibilities to support the team: Supporting PR and Social Manager in scheduling and creating content and artwork for social channels using online tools such as Sprout Social. Assist the Brand Marketing Coordinator in development of brochure and key campaigns including creating promotional materials such as POS. Seeing things through from design to print. Supporting Retail Marketing Coordinator in delivering local Marketing activities including artwork/online support where necessary and review local marketing opportunities. Working as a team to ensure each promotion is integrated across all our channels smoothly and efficiently. Providing support for all the stores as well as engaging with the customer.
At Retro Rehab I worked with the store owner to create an online platform for customers to buy products through, using ASOS Marketplace. This involved: Creating blog and social media posts daily through creative writing and thinking of ways to drive followers from the social media to the boutique to generate sales Organising weekly photo shoots for new stock as well as retouching and uploading the images to the online boutique. I also designed the website for Retro Rehab using online platform Weebly and often created in-store POS or helped with visual merchandising
Here I worked closely with the director, generating press coverage for clients. My role involved the following: Liaising with clients and press to deal with sample requests or returns as well as pushing for coverage through organising meetings and networking. Creating Email Shots to be sent out each week promoting clients collections or recent news. Using social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr to engage with followers and create more coverage for both clients and Sheppard PR. At Sheppard PR I also managed the office, dealt with general admin and sample inventories for clients using programmes such as Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
