I am very passionate about music and write sporadically for a local music and culture magazine. This involves coordinating with local music promotions companies to advocate local artists by promoting and reviewing shows. In my personal time, I enjoy reading and as a result find myself writing a lot when I am inspired. I have a passion for writing and have contributed regularly to university publications as well as regularly updating my own blogs. I like to challenge myself and gain new experiences so my current blog documents my eclectic hobbies such as starting my allotment plot and learning to play the banjo as a beginner. I also received a first in my creative writing at university and my finished story was deemed publishable by the module convener. My time at university has been invaluable as my English degree has provided me with excellent written and spoken communication skills as well as key presentation skills.
