Creative director, coach, and consultant, I’ve been devoted to design and communication for over 30 years.
Born in NY, I grew up between the green hills of Umbria in Italy and the Beg Apple’s skyscrapers. After a past in agencies (McCann, NY; Armando Testa e Barabino & Partners, Milano),
I chose, about 20 years ago, to work directly with clients, founding my own design studio: Raffaella Isidori Thesign. Today I create brands and design the communication for businesses worldwide. Besides that, I study, I teach, I take pictures, I write and I translate.
Curious as a cat and in love with diversities, I collect books, fonts and essential oils. For now I live and work surrounded by flora and fauna in Milan’s hinterland. And I cultivate dreams and mindfulness. Online, I’m @zetaraffix.

Nata a New York, sono cresciuta tra la campagna umbra e i grattacieli della Grande Mela. Dopo un passato di agenzie (McCann, NY; Armando Testa e Barabino & Partners, Milano) ho scelto - 20 anni fa - di lavorare direttamente con i clienti, fondando il mio studio di consulenza: Raffaella Isidori Thesign.
Oggi creo brand e disegno la comunicazione per aziende in tutto il mondo. E poi studio, insegno, faccio foto, scrivo e traduco.

Owner & Creative Director
raffaella isidori thesign is a creative lab for integrated communication & brand building, where experience and old-school traditions meet new technologies, new media and new approaches.
Thinking outside the box and caring with expertise for tailor-made projects are the basis: standing close to the client, I work alongside him, to create the best possible integration between all aspects of corporate/product image and communication.
To offer complete and punctual services, when necessary I am flanked by experts that extend my professional competences, thus allowing me to offer cohesive, sustainable and effective solutions.
Lately, my approach and wide range of skills has proven particularly fit in supporting startups (in particular in the technological and socially-aimed services field) as it allows me to offer an excellent ratio between quality and price, as well as the leanness and flexibility to fit the necessary schedules.
As a creative coach, I support top managers in evaluating and approaching the image and communication requirements, both internal and external, of medium and large-sized companies, and in successfully resolving their need for effective and impacting top-level presentations, also in other languages and opportunely localized.
My initial training as a graphic and advertising designer has been integrated in years by a long experience as a copywriter and my personal story has forged me into a translator, trans-creator and specialist interpreter in both directions between Italian and English.
Thanks to this acquired experience, I have often developed and cared for bi-cultural and bi-lingual promotional and communication projects, particularly towards the USA and Canada. My skills, coupled with the deep knowledge of both languages and cultures, make me an ideal consultant for foreign companies wishing to enter the Italian market, as well as a valid support for Italian firms wishing to enter the North American markets.
