The song touches on the subject of love and the feeling of what it can lead to, such as being in euphoria. 'Essence' gives off a very mysterious type of mood, so I really wanted to have smoke shown throughout the whole video, to symbolise the intoxication. Falling into a higher state because of the drug he calls love.

It has a very catch hook that invites you to sing-along and get lost within the feels. Getting back home from a night out, she expects her lover to arrive any second, however he doesn't show up because of her jealous secret admirer.

After rebranding and plunging into his new image RAY NVVY debuts his single 'Tell Me', off his forthcoming project. The 2:52-long dark, moody song jives with the story of love and lust. He sings about giving into his lover's touch, love and "the drug that you are". As soon as I had finished creating this song, it instantly gave me a movie soundtrack type of feel. Studying at Coventry was definitely unforgettable. Learnt how to use adobe premiere pro which is my go to video editing software. The facilities for media students was incredible. There was a loan shop where you can rent all kinds of equipment from cameras to microphones to rigs etc. Most importantly the lecturers and workshops really helped build who I am today. A creative visionary.
