Rakesh Jaitly grew up in the south of Croydon, United Kingdom. He began making videos at age 11, becoming serious at the age of 17 when making music videos for local bands. He has a degree in BSc Psychology, but has been actively filmmaking throughout his studies.
Currently he works as a in-house writer/director, producer and editor for The Ace Effect LTD. His creative inspirations include Derek Cianfrance, The Coen Brothers, and Wes Anderson.
