- A.L.I.C.E. Immersive Theatre ProductionLoosely based on the story of Alice in Wonderland, A.L.I.C.E. (Anxiety, Lonliness, Insomnia, Crisis, Emotion) was my immersive theatre and dining event held at Athelhampton House, Dorset, raising awareness of mental health issues and to tackle the stigma attached to it. The immersive theatre piece explored Alice’s journey through Wonderland with the intent to inform the audience on an entertaining level, open their eyes to mental health, and subtly teach them about the emotions felt by a person suffering from various mental health disorders. The theatre piece was followed by music, canapés, a silent auction for our chosen charity BCHA, and informative talks to educate the audience further. The 2 evening performances on 28th April 2017 were both sell-out shows and a total of £513 was raised for the mental health department of the charity, BCHA (Bournemouth Churches Housing Association).
