I am a highly motivated and extremely enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in marketing and communications. I have gained a real understanding of the fashion industry through studying a Bachelor of the Fine Arts in Fashion Marketing, as well as through established experiences in fashion buying, design, events and retail, of which I have thrived in working both as an individual and within a team. My key qualities are my dedication, my optimism and positive attitude within a professional environment.
I was operating the information desk at London Fashion Weekend, dealing with all customer and designer enquiries at the event as well as ensuring every message or complaint got reported to the sales and showcasing management team and was dealt with promptly. Communications, orginisation and administrative skills were a key aspect to this role in making sure the event ran smoothly. I also worked as a runner during the New Gen selection week, in March, demonstrating designer's products to the judging panel.
This internship was set in an event production's head office, shadowing a production assistant. I assisted working up to an event celebrating the collaboration of Macallan Whisky with Mario Testino for two weeks, as well as working on site at the event. Head office tasks included product, furniture and prop sourcing as well as creating technical drawings on Illustrator and Photoshop of design concepts for the event. I also had the opportunity of working on the bight of the British Fashion Awards as a runner.
Sales associate at London Fashion Week's "The Shop". stocking products of numerous eclectic and upcoming designers such as Self-Portrait and Charlotte Simone. My tasks included pushing for high sales targets each day, demonstrating product knowledge as well as working on the visual merchandising of the products and liaising with the stocked designers.

This internship was focused on managing the shoe and bag showing spaces at London Fashion Weekend, working directly with exhibiting designers such as Kat Maconie and Mo Helmi, ensuring any complaint from exhibitors or visitors was promptly dealt with.

Tasks included attending weekly fit sessions, which required liaising with the garment technologists, producing weekly trend reports and weekly updates on competitor's new stock. This internship gave me a real understanding of the fast pace process of range planning for each season within a mass market retail chain.
