About me

 

As a successful Entrepreneur and Owner, I have designed and created many small and large scale events throughout England and internationally. I am a well presented, highly personable and efficient event organiser who has the ability to work independently in a changing enviroment with numerous and competing deadlines. With my excellent communication skills I am comfortable working in a fast paced, hands-on, growth orientated environment. I have organised collaborations with many national and international events, including Brighton Pride, Pride In London, Girlie Circuit, Barcelona, Alpha Girls, Germany and Dinah Shore, California. In 2013 I launched two hugely successful annual events, London Winter Pride Music Festival in partnership with Smirnoff and Winter Pride Arts Festival. I am currently working with Bulmers to activate their cider flavours over Pride in London week.

  • In my current independent role I own, design and deliver events ranging from 100 to 5,000 attendees, with budgets ranging from £1,000 - £150,000. I am the owner of targeted cliental database of over 80,000 people. This includes: • Identifying the target audience • Devising the event concepts • Coordinating the logistics, technical and productio before and during the event, • Source sponsorship and maintaining client relationships. • Working on pitches and tenders. • Budgeting • Meeting margin targets on assigned work. • Venue selection, design of production/décor • Marketing, PR and social media planning and delivery • Sourcing and booking performers, DJs, artists • Planning the logistics, scheduling and programming • Recruiting and managing staff • Dealing with local authorities to acquire the necessary permits. • Health & safety, fire, venue security, risk assesstments, emergency planning and Licensee planning
