Recently graduating with a Fine Art BA from UAL combined with my 7 years' experience in customer facing roles has made me a creative, reliable, dedicated individual Throughout the past three years I have gained invaluable experience from balancing my BA, volunteering and working in various roles. Assisting in digitising Conway Hall's library and archives which includes parchments, letters, architectural blueprints, books, photographs, artworks to name a few. Conway Hall is the largest and most comprehensive humanist resource in the UK. Completing copyright legislation to confirm who owns copyright to each artefact. Quality assurance overlooking scans of documents. Transcribing documents dating back to the 17th century. Assisting with children's workshops in the library.
Sourcing volunteers for Conway Hall's London Thinks debates. *Managing a team of up to 10 volunteers on the night of the events which pull in up to 400 guests and are later streamed to thousands more. *Acting as a face of Conway Hall at the door, answering questions, organising roving mics, collaborating with event organisers, volunteers, speakers and my colleagues to make sure everything runs smoothly. *Speakers have included Brian Cox, Peter Singer, Laura Bates, Nate Phelps. It is worth mentioning that I was promoted from a volunteer to a paid role as coordinator.
Co-editor and co-founder of Creamer Magazine. A magazine collaboration dubbed by Vice as 'London's funniest gross out trashy mag,' and also featured in the Guardian. Role includes, but is not limited to; editing, publishing, organising eight events in the past two years, interviewing and paraphrasing, online editorial editing, running workshops and managing social media, representing Creamer at events and talks.
