I am a public relations, activation, and content specialist with three years of PR agency experience in New Zealand. I have recently moved to the UK on a two-year working visa and I’m excited to further my career in the London public relations and communications market. I enjoy working in a team environment and have experience managing and developing junior team members. My previous experience working within a large integrated media, creative and PR agency and more recently a boutique PR firm, has broadened my knowledge of how different agencies work and allowed for me to feel comfortable working in both. I am ambitious, hardworking, have an eye for detail, and consider myself a quick learner. I also enjoy the social side of the business, building relationships with media, clients and my immediate team, which are all an important part of my everyday approach.
While at Beat I further developed my PR and online content skillset, as well as managed junior staff who assisted me on campaigns. I was responsible for all elements of Frucor’s brand campaigns and launching Eat My Lunch into the New Zealand market, which included developing the strategy, through to the implementation, management, media relations and post campaign analysis. During my time at Beat, I also worked on new business pitches, helping develop new ideas and creative concepts for presentation to prospective clients, and collaborated with teammates on pitch documentation. My key acheivements while AM include; - Activated H2GO’s on pack promotion by leading a production team to develop three pieces of video content for social media. At Spark I worked across some of the agency’s biggest clients and most challenging campaigns. Including Heineken Open Play, ANZ Coffee Van, and adidas Super Rugby and adidas ZX Flux launch. During my time as AE and SAE, I confidently took the project lead on numerous campaigns across my portfolio of clients, including events for adidas and media relations for Dove and Magnum. I played a large role in managing the day-to-day work for the adidas account. Across my client portfolio I built great relationships with the clients and also relevant media.
