About me
I am a Creative Director whose passion is to craft emotive and engaging stories. Over the last 10+ years, I’ve created a variety of these stories - anything from TV ads, Instagram campaigns, short films to YouTube series and even a podcast. I also know a thing or two about working with Talent and Influencers. I count myself lucky to love my job and to have worked on such varied brands as Nike, PlayStation, Sainsbury’s, Carte Noire, HTC, Boots and Hasbro. I love nothing more than to use my content strategy know-how to conceptualise, pitch and create campaigns for brands. On the 'side', I also host a podcast called ‘This Way Up’ where I interview leading Women across the world - from Google CDs to Emmy nominated documentary filmmakers to inspirational entrepreneurs - sharing the good, the bad and the ugly of their careers.(https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/this-way-up/id1406171594 & @thiswayuppodcast on Instagram) Finally, I also like to contribute to the industry through various talks, workshops and events as well as judging at awards shows including Young Cannes Lions, D&AD New Blood and the Gerety awards. (Available for speaking gigs)

UBER - International Women's DayFor International Women’s Day, I scripted and directed three films for Uber. This particular campaign was close to my heart because it was created specifically to open up the discussion around the fact that only 14% of London’s blue plaques are for women. Each film follows a leading female culture maker as they hop from Uber to Uber across London to visit key places associated with their female heroes - from their birthplaces to meaningful spots, to blue plaques dedicated to them. They each wen

  • We Are Not A Stereotype
We Are Not A StereotypeTo mark International Women’s Day, we are doing something BIG. The pandemic is widening the gender pay gap and something needs to be done…and we need your help. Since the pandemic started the gender pay gap has widened to the extent that women in their mid-30s will not see equal pay in their lifetime. “We are not a stereotype” is a movement to try and stop this. We need to dismantle damaging stereotypes and showcase how the challenges we face in our careers are real and unique. In this vide

This Way Up podcast - Episode 16- Pip JamiesonSomething I did, [when looking for investment] is that I made a list of all the asshole investors that I heard about in town. And for the first month, I pitched them first. And it was horrific. I was pitching all these awful alpha males [and] I was literally coming home to my husband in pieces. But what was great about that process is by the time I got to the investors I really wanted; I was pitch ready – Pip Jamieson, CEO of The Dots This episode of This Way Up was recorded live on stage at th

I helped newly founded start-up 'The Elephant Room' pitch and win a campaign for Uber, specifically for International Women’s Day. I then scripted and directed (for the 1st time) three films. The aim was to raise awareness of the lack of London blue plaques dedicated to women. Alongside the films, I created a suite of social assets for Uber’s social pages. The result was engaging and refreshing films for IWD that really hit the brief and carried a strong message. Each video exceeded over 10k views without media spend in just a couple of days after International Women’s day. The campaign was achieved in record time and within a very small budget.
