Do you really want to delete project London Fashion Week (Street Style 2016)?
Hi I'm Reece Johnson, an Aspiring Fashion Designer, Stylist and photographer working towards combining these skills to create in the future, a multimedia company within the industry of my own. Right now I'm Freelancing all of these Practices and gathering as much skills and experience as I could possibly get, while of course looking for Work. I'm punctual, a compulsive worker and love to meet deadlines! Here are some of what i do below...
demonstrated excellent skills all around and proved i have great punctuality and organisation skills. this Job entailed housekeeping, interior design, faxing, Key coding and Mail sorting... ... this was a 1 week placement set up by the school i attended at the time.
-Furthered my researching skills as I shadowed professional tailors and primarily photographed the process of making a suit. -Was shown important techniques on the shaping and structuring of garments, I.e. Darts, pleats, canvassing etc. -Met a Network of various interesting people with various jobs within the Huntsman team.
-Learned how to create an effective mood board with a team and the importance of inspiration when designing. -Was able to broaden my skills and understanding of of Photoshop, Lightroom and illustrator. -Shadowed some of the professional designers as they used Macs and Print machines. -Designed a Print with a team for SS16 (Target) Mario
-Learned how to effectively Research and document up and coming trends within fashion -Worked under a professional researcher and did my best to meet all the targets set for me -Strengthened my understanding of the importance of research within fashion.
-Taught me how to successfully thread an industrial sewing machine and a range of various over lockers. Also how to get a more steady and clean result when sewing. -I learned the importance of teamwork within a factory to work towards the client’s needs and also the importance of skill, minimal mistakes and fabric/ Money saving.
•Developed my sewing skills and was able to produce an end of year, 8 Piece final collection.
•Learned how to successfully thread, sew and create a simple garment. Also how to gather various research and relate them contextually to my own inspirations
•Learned a whole new set of skills including film editing using Final Cut Pro, animation techniques and new photography skills. Here I was able to develop my research techniques further
•Advanced my drawing, painting and designing techniques as I was introduced to the path of design.
