Graphic Designer

Corke Wallis

Aug 2013
  • During my time at Corke Wallis I have had the opportunity to advance my skills in both print and digital arenas. I have been responsible for producing creative work, for a wide variety of clients, from concept and design through to artwork and production. The projects I have worked on during my time here have given me extensive experience in art direction, concept creation and development, designing visual identities, brand books and digital design. Several of the projects I have worked on involved exploring the ‘experiential’ side of brands, looking to increase consumer engagement and awareness around brands and their products using Internet of Things technologies. I have also gained experience in liaising directly with clients to identify their needs, address challenges and develop existing client relationships.

2011

Junior Graphic Designer

Specsavers

May 2011 - Jun 2011
  • The experience that I gained during the time I spent in the creative department at Specsavers was extremely useful. I put into practice the skills I had been learning at University and knowledge of relevant design software, but more importantly I developed a comprehensive understanding of how a design studio operates. The work that I undertook varied from an in-house survey campaign, to pitching ideas for different brand identities, and also a number of other projects including designing a campaign adaptable for multiple print media.
