About me

Content curator, editor and academic with an excellent cross-disciplinary track record contributing to the media, academia and diverse societies. I possess a multi-disciplinary education and practical experience in several countries that spans public, private and third sectors. I am a highly skilled communicator, I understand networks, thrive on challenge and can deliver at pace in a variety of environments. I have been a journalist and editor in digital, print and broadcast media for a decade. I am the former Co-head of Digital at the MOBO Awards and a journalist for Rolling Stone Magazine. Since 2010, I have been instrumental with Sofar Sounds, as a core advisor to the founders and executive producer across Asia and Central America, taking Sofar to these regions for the first time. I have curated live music experiences, created digital strategy and executive produced all video content. I hold a Master’s degree in strategic and defence studies and have contributed to leading global think tanks as an academic. Since 2011, I have been a Visiting Fellow at UCL's Institute for Strategy, Resilience and Security (ISRS) appointed by former British Home Secretary the Rt. Hon. the Lord Reid of Cardowan. I have written high-level research and provided advisory for multi-national companies on a freelance project-basis. My focus area is cyber security, AI and IoT. I co-founded The Pericles Foundation in my spare time, a registered charity in the UK, the Netherlands and the USA, devoted to producing high quality non-fiction books across disciplines. Our first publication was Breakthrough: From Innovation to Impact. The process-centric approach and methods offered in this book have been adopted by several major institutions, including the Dutch Ministry of Health, the Rand Corporation, the Mayo Clinic and the University of Groningen.
