Renee explores her creativity across many disciplines with the drive to be original and innovative, whilst drawing from her multicultural upbringing. Dedicated to being involved throughout the entirety of any creative process, she organises and pays attention to every fine detail. As a recent university graduate, Renee is eager to learn and develop new and existing skills, so as to grow both professionally and as an individual. Completing a BA in Theatre, Renee’s work includes creating and performing original theatre pieces, which range from post-dramatic to instillation-dance performances. Her other fields of interests are photography, film, visual art, writing, music, fashion, dance, makeup and marketing. Her background in business, not only provides her a broader understanding of her industry, but also gave way to a great interest in the psychology of the spectator/consumer. Specifically, Renee is intrigued by the different ways in which this new era of (social) media can be combined with the arts, so as to push beyond the traditional passive position of the spectator/consumer. She is interested in how to capture and keep people’s attention, building relationships and a community, in a highly competitive digital sphere.

Vamvaki is a local boutique in the Greek city Kavala. It offers vibrant and sophisticated women's clothing and accessories. I worked in the boutique during the summer months between the years 2015 and 2017. At the heart of the business is costumer loyalty, making and maintaining strong yet professional relationships with regulars was crucial as well as creating a pleasant shopping experience for newcomers, encouraging their trust in the brand. In this environment I was working in a very close proximity to the consumer, which meant learning from and swiftly finding solutions to possible mistakes is important so as to ensure customer satisfaction. Vamvaki has a selective yet versatile range of clothing which catered to women in their thirties up until their sixties. Dealing with such a range of consumers aided in my understanding of the difference in their behaviour within the market, how they respond to in-store assistance as well as their product preferences. Understanding the different target groups enabled me to draw upon that knowledge and skills so as to achieve maximum sales closure
